Pre-launch version. This will be updated before the Questin app is released.

Safety and community guidelines

Questin is for adults (18+). Be kind, be honest and look after each other.

Meeting a neighbour

• Meet somewhere public first and, where you can, in daylight.
• Tell a friend or family member where you are going.
• Keep conversations and payments inside the app.
• You never have to carry on with a job or handover that worries you.

What is not allowed

• Harassment, hate, threats, or discrimination.
• Childcare, unsupervised minors, age-restricted goods, hazardous or regulated work.
• Illegal items, scams, or taking people off the app to pay.
• Sharing other people's private details or photos without permission.
• Fake accounts, fake reviews or manipulating ratings.

Reporting and blocking

Use Report on any Quest, listing, profile, photo or message. Blocking stops that person contacting you. Reports are reviewed by our team and serious cases lead to removal.

XP, ranks and badges

XP celebrates taking part. It has no cash value, cannot be bought or sold, and nobody is penalised for taking a break.
